Exactly. We have no one that can even compete with/push Lafell so there is no competition. Speaks volumes about our WR's,if we don't take one this year it needs to be a priority next year. We haven't had a reliable number 3 since Proehl, hopefully Hixon will be very good and Lafell has a breakout yr.

I've had a good feeling about Cole for some reason, glad to hear that about him. He reminds me of a younger Hollis Thomas. Just a big, experienced, run stuffer. I gotta pull for a guy that just walked in and killed it.

I'm ready for the draft man. Regardless of the positions taken Gettleman is going to improve our team, and whatever we don't get in the draft he will pick up in Free Agency

That wasn't how 89 was saying it. He felt like the way Lafell does his job and how he works that he has the respect of the roster and the coaching staff. So it will be very hard for any WR to take his spot.

He also said something about Gettis a week ago. He said Gettis was going thru what Derrick Rose for the Chicago Bulls is going thru. His injury was more mental last year. He didn't trust his knee. Steve said he came to TC last year and was over compensating for his knee and pulled his hamstring. Steve also said from what he's seen in workouts he looks like he might be ready to go this year. But there is going to be a battle in TC for those WR spots.

I wouldn't call Ginn a lock. I doubt anyone can beat him out as the return man, but a camp surprise could make him expendable. The other 3 are on the the team regardless of how they and others play in camp.
