I don't care too much for Austin's swiss army knife like skills. (In that he can do a little bit of everything). I want to draft a solid guy, who specializes in what he does.

austin pretty much specializes in everything he does.

receiver, returner, RB....great at all of them.

Yeah I admit it sounds exciting, the things we could do having him here with the weapons we already have. Yet I don't know if we would have the know how to put all of this together. Think about it, last year we had three great running backs, and didn't know what to do with them because we wanted to utilize Cam's running ability. So if we add Austin, as you say he can be a running back as well, this offense might end up even more confused. That's my fear.

Some of you act like he's the best receiver in the game already. You don't take slot guys this high. My god I want this draft over with already. The Tavon Austin love fest is freaking annoying.

FYI I am for getting Cam weapons, there are better prospects for him in this years draft and the next year, and the next..

I'll be fine if we don't draft him cause there's plenty of other options that are really good as well, but reactions and comments like these bumps him up a little bit on my want list just to see the meltdown. :)

I'm not going to melt down. If we take him we take him, he's a panther and that's that. I may not agree for a bit but ill fall in line eventually. Getting to the draft and reading all the post about a guy that apparently walks on water now, that 3 months ago was not even a first round draft choice is annoying as fug. The guy is clearly over hyped. Sharrif Floyd isn't a media creation. Austin is..

Does anyone think it's interesting that the guy across from him scored 13 more touchdowns last year?
