I still would do it, Star is not some kind of second coming like people think he is. We can get a space eater later on in the draft. Like someone said earlier on third downs they move Hardy to DT so they can bring Alexander on the field so that only leaves one spot for a DT which is gonna be Edwards anyway. Were not gonna find a better pass rusher at DT then Edwards this year. We got holes, and we need depth. Guys like Cyprien, the second round linemen and receivers can start next year. Or we could just get some Dts there to groom.

I'm quite sure Gettleman will pull the trigger if Star's available in no time. Would be stupid not to take BPA on a position of need. Should be the first and most optimistic scenario that's on our board round 1.

Could a trade like this happen on the day of the draft? Absolutely, but if you believe Gettleman was serious about his "dollar and three dimes" analogy, then it'd likely need to be a "knock your socks off" deal for him to take it.
