Superbowl or no Superbowl it will always be a financial loss to give that kind of money to a stadium. Now the city may regret it because the team has leverage to ask for a bigger cut, that I can agree with.

actually it's more than half. It comes to exactly 150 million. The city pays 87.5 and the team still pays 62.5 (plus an additional 15 million for "maintenance" which isn't factored in) which comes to 150 million.

I do not see the team going anywhere. It would be more risky and expensive to move the team than it would be to invest the money and effort into building a winner.

The owners are businessmen. The allowed the rumors to feed the fear. They knew we lost the Hornets and the scars were fresh.

This six years should involve a detailed account of what the team means to the community--North and South Carolina communities. All should reinvest a percentage of that to keep the team in a nice facility.
