I predict we start 7-0, finish 9-7. Limp into wild card weekend.

We will be typical Ron Rivera only in reverse.. Instead of starting slow we will start out red hot, fizzle and lose 3 in a row and pretty much limp along the rest of the season and win just 2 more games after our 7-0 start, lose our final 4 out of 5 games, sneak into the playoffs at 9-7, with a lot of fans and skeptics feeling deflated and confident we will lose wild card weekend despite us finally making the playoffs.

A lot of Panther fans and huddlers calling for Rivera to be fired because he can never have a consistent season, its either start out slow and finish strong or vice versa is what Rivera haters will argue (not me btw) Rivera gets another year..

Absolutely no chance that we get swept by Atlanta and the Saints. We had Atlanta's number last year. We SHOULD have swept them. And we did sweep New Orleans. That's not happening dude.

1-5 NFC South Division? Lol

I keep thinking, and I keep thinking, and I think we could possibly come out as the NFC South Champs in 2013-2014. 1-5 is ridicolously sad.

We played hard vs Atlanta last season and came out crushing them the 2nd game. They're also a better team last season. They loss so many key players this offseason (Abraham, Grimes, Robinson, Clabo, Turner).

New Orleans is a bunch of very old guys. Their secondary is terrible (Harper). Moving into a 3-4 D will affect them in a bad way. They don't have the personnel to work with. Their only chance to fix it is with a 1st rd pick and no 2nd. Rob Ryan doesn't intimidate me a bit. The dude is all talk just like his brother. He's half of what his brother is, mediocre.

Tampa Bay, is Tampa Bay. You never know what they are. They loss thier best edge rusher in Bennett. Freeman is always up and down. I think he'll have more downs than ups in 2013.

I see a 4-2 record in our Division.

    • I'm seeing Walker in many, if not MOST, of the more recent mocks for the Panthers.  Here's my problem, He's not a tackling machine and that's what you want out of an ILB.  He's a 'tweener.  Are we playing him inside or outside?  Sack production is 'meh' for the outside, not so much a QB terror  and inside he's not a ball hound.   This is culminating to be a typical Panthers pick.  You see how 'tweeners end up here with the mismanagement of Jeremy Chinn.
    • Yes, this same logic could also be used for every player on our roster and practice squad. I wouldn't include basically any of them in the "potential core player" category as I basically outlined it. I don't see him that way because he was a rotational player and I am not sure he will be more than that here.  If I am wrong and he really flourishes here, great. That contract will make a lot more sense and I will have more faith in Dan & Co.
