Thanks, I don't think I noticed that last year. Carrier's comment doesn't say Rivera wanted him, and I have to assume that the desire for Barron had to be Hurney's. Glad he's gone so we don't have anymore near misses like that.

However I do have to think it's kind of dubious that Carrier would even say that. Either he was drunk, stupid, or throwing out some misdirection or something. It doesn't make any sense to basically tell your newest player "you weren't our first choice, we wanted a Safety (of all positions) more than you".

I don't know why he would say that, Kuechly was definitely higher than Barron as was Coples. Coples would have been shifted inside as a DT. I think we had multiple visits with Kuechly and Coples, I am not sure Barron even visited us twice...

Yep, Bucs will draft austin, book it.

There's been a lot of talk about TB taking Tavon, but I think its a smokescreen. I think they know we really like him and are trying to bait us into moving up.

Tampa is in desperate need of a CB and a passrusher. They are good against the run, but The Golden Calf of Bristol could light up that secondary.

Vaccaro - I love Vaccaro a lot in our division, his big frame and quickness along with smooth hips allows him to cover Graham, Gonzales, Clark, etc, and his ability to get off the blocks and shoot into a hole makes him awesome in run support and that makes him a nice fit in our D. He is also a very solid open field tackler and he is big and fast enough to not get destroyed on the deep ball and is very aggressive in the pass game with 14 pass break ups over the past two years. He is obviously not perfect, he needs to improve on his back pedal, he needs to improve on vision, and he needs to improve his leverage. I believe he could be a key piece, and my money right now is on him winning DROTY

NO YOU SEE HE PLAYED TOO CLOSE TO THE LINE BECAUSE HE CAN'T COVER AT ALL AND NOT BECAUSE HE'S A GOOD RUN SUPPORT SAFTEY AND TEXAS DEFENSE BLEW CHUNKS AND IF E DRAFTED AN ACTUALLY GOOD COVERAGE SAFTEY I'D BE UPSET BECAUSE --

I believe it as well, Hayden is going high and he is going to be very good.

I hope so because I really liked what I saw from him, but he hasn't had to make a hit since his injury. You would think that would be a huge concern.

I never ragged on his height, I mentioned his weight and durability.

Stedman Bailey is 5-10 and I'd *love* to see in a Panthers uniform. i honestly think he'll be a better overall WR than Austin.

Gottcha. I think Baileys an ok prospect. I just think that Tavon will be a special player. Kinda like Harvin, Welker and Sproles all rolled into one. His speed, cut backs and change of direction(without loosing speed) set him apart from everyone else. There aren't to many LBs or safties who can catch him. And if used properly that's the positions he'd be up against. Not to mention he'd be one hell of a release valve. I understand everyones concerns with him. I just his potential out weighs those concerns.

2013 wich player has caused the most divide/discussion?

Yeah but

there's 3 teams ahead of us looking at WRs (Jets, Bills, Bucs.) and two looking t trade up to get WRs (NE, Min.)

There's literally almost zero chance he falls to us.
