I think we will be going WR and S/CB in rounds 1 and 2.

I doubt Austin will be there at #14. There is just too much hype around him. Someone will trade up.

Vaccaro is more likely to be there but I'd still rather see us get a WR over him.

If they do this and leave the DT position to a 4th round pick then goodbye Ron at midseason.

I guess it really depends on who is on the board. But I think WR and DB are just as big of needs as DT.

Smith is still a top 10 WR in the league but he is old and could retire at any point. If he were to retire after this season, who the hell would be our #1? We still won't have any money to bring in someone to replace him via FA and I'd rather not draft a WR next season and expect him to come in as the #1 guy right away. And what if Smith gets hurt this season? We'd instantly have a bottom 5 WR group.

LaFell just isn't that good. He's an ok #2 but really belong at #3 on the depth chart.

Hixon and Ginn are nice but they aren't anything close to long term options. I believe Ginn has been brought in more for STs rather than WR.

I know putting off DT yet again would make a lot of people mad but think of how long we've been putting off bringing in another legit WR?

Gettleman isn't going to fix all of the holes in one offseason. There are just too many and we don't have enough cap space or picks to do so.

Haven't you heard? He's tiny and weighs less than a large dog....duh! Oh, and hez a dummy.

Austin 5ft9, 174

Steve Smith in 2001: 5ft9, 184

Clearly those 10 pounds make all the difference.. Austin is a tough dude, he's played 52 games, 38 starting over his college career and has never missed a practice, it's not like he's Ryan Broyles or something

1. I don't. We were able to score with the WR we have and now we've at least signed 2 guys for that position (Hixon,Ginn). Remind me what have we done for the DT position this offseason?

2. Dwan isn't and has never been a top 10 DT. He is our best DT and he is old as well. If he were to retire who the hell do we have to play DT. And if he gets hurt this season do you remember 2011? Not to mention we already have the worst DT group in the league.

3. Fua doesn't belong playing football. Krease is .............. and then Chandler????? At least Lafell Hixon Gettis and whoever are a better option then the DT group.

4. What DT on this team is a long term option?????? Don't worry I'll wait.

5. Not as long as DT been a problem. Kris Jenkins and Buck have been gone for how long now??? At least We had Moose in 2008. So DT wins as most neglected in this debate.

6. So since we have more option, more depth, and have spent more FA money on WR. It should be DT's turn to get a little attention.
