Tavon Austin Wonderlic score: 7

what was aj greens score.

wonderlic is overrated. fortunately gettleman seems to take it for what it is, which is just another reason for a visit. only thing that might be required is how they adapt the playbook and teach the offense, which won't be a problem since coaches are used to doing that anyeay and any coach or teacher worth their salt would be able to adjust what they do to fit the player which, considering his skill set, would be well worth it.

scoring poorly on some stupid test doesn't mean stupid.

I do believe that the Wonderlic is over-rated. But, there is a lot more to being a good WR than being able to run and catch. His intelligence is a valid concern as it does give some insight into his ability to learn and grasp the playbook.

no. all it really does is show that a team might have to alter the way it teaches the playbook, which, again ,isn't that big of a deal esp. if you think the ability is there.

all i want to see is prior growth and ability to learn and be coached. if they have that, then you have what you need.

    • Lol. Nah, man. Get with the program. We need athletic freaks that aren’t really good at their position but maybe have a 3% chance of excelling at a position they’ve never played. Why take a safety with a proven track record, when there are tons of shitty corners that can run a better 40 and can be moved to safety? Shitty quarterback? Excellent! Let’s trade up and make him a receiver! 27 year old olb with major character issues and decision making problems? That’s the guy we want.
