What? This draft is full of potential starters even well into the third round.

Im not so much saying that there isn't potential starters [bc theres potential in the undrafteds too], i'm just saying the top 10 prospects in this draft cant hold a candle, as far as pure talent is concernced, to any other draft in recent memory.

On paper in terms of pre-draft hype, this is true. But, you can never judge a draft class until several years down the road.

I think this draft is actually loaded with talent, it's just a little light in terms of elite prospects at the high profile positions, primarily QB. It's the QBs that generally really get the buzz started and this is being called one of the weakest QB classes in recent memory.

what i call elite prospects, you are calling solid starters.

yes, as far as hyped players that everyone is yammering about there's just not a lot. it's weak, esp. in the QB dept.

what i'm referring to are guys who are solid, not spectacular. guys that can be relied on. guys without a lot of flash, but still a lot of substance. kind of the meat and potatoes of the roster, you might say. i think there's a lot of guys in this draft that will go the first couple rounds who will be legit starters. i'm not expecting much in the way of all-pro, but i am expecting just good and reliable players.

I understand all of this, i am trying to point out that there is no ELITE prospective player in this years draft except maybe 5

Yes i think there is plenty of "talent" in the draft, i am speaking towards the type of player that is destined for greatness.
