A "Sly" Move with the 44th pick ?

There is a story about Sylvester Williams on panthers.com. Not only do I believe that the kid really has been working his way into our draft discussions, but I believe that there's a good possibility that it comes down to between him and Swearinger. Unless A fallen Star is in our future at 14, Sly may be our guy because I believe that we are going to draft a WR. And of course we all know how bad we need a DT. Williams definitely has the potential to make a big impact for us, but his consistency and the refinement of his technique will have to be coached up. Carolina Huddlers---as in UNC---and everyone else, is this guy really worth a look at 44? And is his ceiling and.or upside so much different than Sheldon Richardson's?

BTW, if we do go with Williams at 44, I see Shamarko Thomas or Zeke Motta in our future with the 4th round pick.

1. Nuk Hopkins (or, my favorite, Tavon Austin)

2. Sly Williams

4. Shamarko Thomas

Not what many of you are looking for, but pretty safe and steady in my book.

I read one guy saying teams are sandbagging on him, and he could go between 10 and 20.

If he's there in the second, we ****** him and laugh all the way to the bank, or somewhere that people go to laugh.

You must have said " s n a t c h ". Isn't it retarded that they won't take that word out the filter?

Yeah Williams is on the rise and won't be there in the second. I'd be happy with him in the second, or Short, or Jessie Williams. However, I think all of them go in the first. The thing is that if Short, both Williams', and maybe Hankins go in the first then I feel like some WR's, corners, or safeties fall into the second. It will be interesting to see. Honestly I'm actually warming up to the idea of Datone Jones in the first...he's very verstile and could be a stud.
