Who are some of the 'safe' picks in this year's draft?

Recommended Posts

Simple: Who do you believe are safe prospects that are unlikely to bust and will live up to their hype or their draft position? I'm not saying he will be an all pro or even a consistent pro-bowler, just someone that will have an extensive NFL career and be rather productive throughout.

I believe Robert Woods, Chance Warmack, and Keenan Allen (barring injury) are safe picks this year.

Not sure any wide receiver should be assumed as a "safe" pick unless they have Megatron, AJ Green type measurables. It's just to big of a leap from college to the pro's for wideouts. I'd say all the offensive linemen in the top 20, and maybe milliner.

I also think Cyprien could be pretty safe, he's a smart instinctive player who should be able to produce right away.

I think Stedman Bailey is a safe pick for a good # 2 WR. He was a consistent producer in college with no major injuries (I think). He runs good routes, can block, has good hands and is a hard worker. Seems pretty safe to me as long as your expectations are not set too high.
