That's the thing with this investigation. We will have photos and video of the suspect. There is no doubt about that. Once we narrow it down, that person should (you would think) either come forward to deny it or stay on the run. Once the arrest is made, it should be apparent in the interview whether or not we got the right guy.

I have no idea why, but the picture of that kid... well, guy... he's like 28... Jeff Bauman really touched me.

He's the one the was in the wheelchair with both of his legs blown off. Unfortunately that picture was how his father found out he was injured in the blast.

I plan on donating to his medical funds. Here's the link if anyone else wants to as well...

I'm so glad he made it. I literally felt sick when I heard he was one of the 3 killed, because I had seen the picture of his injuries. Just donated $25...every little bit helps.

Sonya Brown, the person that set up his donation page, had this to say: "Jeffrey is awake and talking and amazingly in good spirits! I have to share his first words with you all "Lt. Dan" as in Forest Gump! lol..."

That's awesome. Good to see he has a sense of humor about it all.

That's really cool. The US and the people that live here might be f*cked up in many, many ways but there isn't a country in the world that comes together in time of need like the good ol' US of A. We are still the best G* Damn country in the world and for anyone that doesn't think so, you can get the fug out.

two things...there are many many reports out already and as always of scam fund raising sites etc...so good on ya for being charitable, just do some homework to make sure it's going in the direction you want it to!

2nd...and this might not go over well...but one thing that bothered me a little watching the Boston/Buffalo anthem was the whole USA, USA stuff. Totally love the national pride, don't get me wrong....I guess it just rubbed me the wrong way in it made it sound like everyone was blaming foreigners...if that makes sense????

If I had to guess, most folks are already blaming this on Islam/Middle East/Jihad....whatever.

I don't think that's the case, but I would assume that I am in the minority.

I hear you Hawk and I understand what you're saying... I think some of it probably was misdirected at "foreign" interests that may or may not have been involved, but I think a lot of it was just showing support from other parts of the country.

As always there are idiots everywhere.

Then you and I are both in the minority. I would be very surprised if this wasn't a homegrown attack.
