Explosions at finish line of Boston Marathon

I've read from another source that the third reported fatality was the gentleman with the amputated leg whose picture was posted ITT. apparently died on the table.

No confirmation yet.

Wouldn't shock me. When I (unfortunately) saw that photo, I had a feeling he wouldn't make it.

I thought it was very irresponsible of some media outlets to post that photo at all, and especially with his face. This was shortly after the explosions, so it is very possible his friends and family were online looking for information. Imagine coming across that photo to learn that your friend/son/boyfriend/etc had his legs blown off.

I don't think there were dogs on the roof. The report I read said that runners reported there were dogs at the start and finish lines and spotters on the roof. And that would be a more logical pattern. The only question is whether that is normal procedure these days, or if there was some suspicion of an elevated threat level.

I'll never understand why there's blood covering the streets, body parts everywhere, and people laying on the ground

and then there's some asshole right in the middle of it like "GOTTA TWEET THIS poo INSTEAD OF HELPING SOMEONE"

I couldn't tell from the article if the two men in separate seats were speaking to each other in arabic or if they were in separate seats speaking in general saying things in arabic.

If they were speaking to each other is one thing but I would understand if the passengers were freaking out over a is murmuring in arabic but not really speaking with someone. These marathon runners were just a part of a terrorist attack and naturally their fears were greatly escalated.

There is a photo going viral right now of some mysterious figure/man moving across the rooftops around the bombing site. I figure it is just a bystander trying to get a look at the whole situation but rather interesting nonetheless. It could potentially be a decent piece of evidence but he is far enough away that I doubt he could be identified. If I wasn't on my phone I would post it.

After I heard about the explosion, i was in the car and wanted to hear a few more details, NPR was not talking about it atm so I turned it to 1110, where they went on to play a recording of the explosion and the after math. You could hear moaning and other disturbing noises. I immediately turned the channel. It was pretty sick, crossed my line.

Once again, why the heck do you have dogs on roofs? Seems like they are for sniffing and not seeing.

Also, when Saudi was taken into custody at the scene,

The sources said that, after the man was grabbed by police, he smelled of gunpowder and declared, “I thought there would be a second bomb.”
