if carolina would completely lean on their running game, then yes.

as effective as it was last season, they didn't run the ball enough...and even abandoned it too early on several occassions.

Yes actually I do think he can. He was in the top 10 on a bunch of key advanced stats for QB's. That a year removed from TMJ, which takes two years to fully recover from. So to answer your question, Jake can take this team back to the Super Bowl. However it takes more then one player to get there, the rest of the guys have to put forth the same effort and determination in that Smith and Jake put in.

No it took a whole team to lose a playoff game. While jake did play a significant role in the loss, he wasn't the only reason we didn't win. What about the play calling??????? What about the Defense??????? What about the Coaches putting benching him during the bye weeks last year because of him recovering from the surgery???
