Deandre Hopkins is my guy. We are going to draft a WR at 14 or 44 and might as well have the pick of the litter. At first I did not like Deandre that much, but after watching prospects over and over again I noticed how precise that his routes are and saw how impressive his body control and hands were. Of the other folks on the list I would have to give a hard look at Jesse Williams at NT, I do not see the infatuation with Cyprien, in fact when a lot of huddlers say that they like him, they follow it up with "but I really haven't seen much actual video of him playing"

I have, and it's not close. There was a reason why Rogers was a first-round lock before the marijuana incident. When comparing the two, its obvious that LaFell just doesn't have Rogers' athleticism, physicality, and toughness. I mean truly be honest yourself. There is no correlation. They might have similar frames and combine stats but teams didn't double and triple team LaFell, nor did opposing DBs halt press coverage on him.

Are you boasting the fact he got double teamed at Tennessee Tech? Really??

I'm sorry Lafell wasn't getting double teamed as he played with players like Bowe and playing against CB SEC CB.

I'm glad Rogers got double teamed by future Data Entry Specialist.

Did he get double teamed when he played at UT??? NO!!!

Cyprien's Senior Bowl outing opened alot of eyes. A large number of fans had no idea who he was until he punished the country's top WRs and RBs.

Why is getting love? Simple. He's a very physical safety with good instincts, zone coverage and fundamentals. Watch the tape. He's rarely out of position, he tracks the ball quite well in the air, possesses good tackling technique, he's a student of the game and a vocal leader.

Believe me, I have watched as much as I can, not a lot out there though that I can find. From what I see I do like him, more that Vaccaro for sure. I just do not think that he belongs in the discussion at 14, nor any other Safety in the draft. From the small amount of video I have seen on him (senior bowl, cut ups from highlights of two other games) I think he has the best ability of any safety in this draft. For me, I haven't seen or cannot find enough footage to fall in love with him the way that some have. I need a larger sample size.

No, actually was tripled teamed at Tennesse Tech. You would know that if you bothered to buy a pair of bifocals. Coach Kelly pretty much discussed his strategy to shut out Da'Rick (in their 2012 meeting) which involved linebacker and safety help for his cornerbacks.

Incidentally, back in 2011 Alabama admitted to 'swarming' #21 on every snap so he wouldn't get comfortable. The highlight clearly demonstrates that, Einstein. Rogers had 3-4 jerseys around him at all times.

Like I reiterated, defenses stopped employing press coverage against Rogers because of his strength and physicality at the line of scrimmage. DBs weren't having success in jamming Rogers. So please, just stop.

1. I don't care he got triple team by future realtors at Tennessee Tech. All I care about is what happened at UT against better competition.

2. Please don't quote me what a coached said without a Link. So I can see it.

3. Lafell Highlights show the same thing with him having more separation and being a better deep threat.

4. Show me a video of him at UT where I can see him line up and how he was covered from the snap. The highlights don't show that.

Yes? Can't you?

• Rogers played every WR position at UT and TT (inside and outside).

• Rogers breaks more tackles, and drags defenders with him.

• Rogers excels catching passes in traffic.

• Rogers has vastly superior route running.

• Rogers gets separation.

• Rogers makes acrobatic catches.

1. So does Lafell and he does it here for the panthers.

2. He has to break tackles and try to drag defenders because he has little to no "elusiveness" and isn't getting a lot of separation. He got walked down like 4x (on that highlight) on plays that should have been easy TD.

3. Lafell does as well.

4. Both were good route runners.

5. Lafell can make acrobatic catches

Same players. If we draft Rogers we would just be adding another Lafell with more power but no elusiveness. Both are not really deep threats.

A triple team is still a triple team. You can't find an excuse for that no matter how desperately you try to write it off.

Hey, be my guest. Go on google and type in 'Coach Kelly post game tenn tech'.

Oh you mean a video like this one?

1. Some of these triple teams you see are actually Zones. They are guarding a area not a single man please learn the difference.

2. AHHH NO!!! I'm not doing your homework to prove a point. You said Kelly said it then show me a link to it. I shouldn't have to prove your point for you.

5. Lafell can make acrobatic catches

Lafell has already made some pretty damn acrobatic catches here. 2 his rookie season alone come to mind. Plus that catch where he elevated and plucked the ball out of the air last year that set the record for longest Panthers receiving TD.

I do like Rogers though. I don't think just because he and Lafell have similar games he would have no place on the team. Big body, good hands WRs can make plays. Whether there's 1 of them on the field or 3. They're chain movers, not necessarily explosive playmakers. You don't really need explosive plays if you can move the chains efficiently. As long as we have the RBs we have, Cam and 1 explosive playmaker WR - which is Smitty for now, maybe next year it start transitioning to Marquis Lee, Sammy Watkins or someone else (this year only Austin really fits the description of the high end WRs and I don't really want him as early as we'd have to take him) - chain movers will have a role.

You could watch the highlights to that game yourself. You can clearly see LB and S help in that Oregon game... or not. Don't really care if you believe Rogers was swarmed on by The Ducks in 2012. The evidence is on YouTube.

LaFell was a lackluster route runner at LSU. He pretty much admitted it at the combine in front of scouts. In fact, that interview is also on YouTube.

Yes, LaFell is more elusive between the two. How's that worked out for him at the next level though? Brandon hasn't burned secondaries and made defenders miss in the NFL like he did at LSU. While Rogers isn't elusive or a burner, his physicality and strength is what makes him a prized possession. He's exactly what Keenan Allen is but with more athleticism.

LaFell had his moments but you can't compare him with Rogers in acrobatic catches. Da'Rick was consistently on weekend highlights for his one-handed first downs and touchdowns.

Yes, zone coverages. Why, exactly? Because DBs would either get shoved out of the way or be called on pass interference calls. LSU and Florida both tried press coverage on Rogers and he made them pay for it. LSU had more success but as you saw Tyrann got bullied.

No separation? Get your eyes checked. Bray has a strong arm but his accuracy was incredibly subpar. Rogers had to compensate like Keenan had to earlier this year.

Rogers is not LaFell. It's easy to compare tape highlights but if that were true then LaFell would have gone in the first round and he'd be on Calvin Johnson's level, but he's not. If Brandon was as good as Da'Rick then the Panthers wouldn't be looking into Keenan Allen and DeAndre Hopkins.

1. He got better at it while at LSU. I saw the interview and he said playing with players like Bowe made him get better.

2. Pretty good he has got better every year and when given the targets he makes plays.

3. Why Exactly??? You do know a lot of teams play zone right?? If Rogers made teams change there defense so much why is he the 6-7 rated WR in this class without a elite prospect?? Please don't say it's the drug thing. I've seen worse prospects get drafted high even with bad marks on there record.

4. Yes No separation. You would notice from this video that Justin Hunter with the same QB isn't having the same problem. You can also notice that he doesn't get walk down like rogers does.

5. The Panthers could be looking at other WR because of 89's Age and the non production of WR behind 89 and Lafell. Not because they don't like Lafell.
