Had a talk with Jyles Tucker yesterday...

I saw Jyles Tucker yesterday at a party. I stopped him and said not to be in your face but didn't you play for the Panthers last season. He responded "Yea man, that was me" So we had an interesting conversation about why he left and what happen. I brought up Rivera as the problem explaining to him that he doesn't know what he's doing. He got a little defensive and insisted Rivera is a good guy and knows what he is doing and it is the players on the team with the fat wallets not helping the cause. Hmmm what do you take out of this information?

Rivera is a decent enough identifier and developer of talent. His struggles have come during his management during the week and on sundays. The team looking sloppy and unprepared on gameday has been a weekly tradition during his tenure here with those things being amplified at the begnning of both of the seasons hes had here.

Yeah, there are some players who could take some blame too.

I think there could be truth in that statement. We were close in so many games however at key times mistakes were made. Fumbles, drops and Int and bad moments. Let's not forget the missed fg's during Olindo Mare era.

From the fan perspective I can see how it can seem like coaching is totally at fault. However it seemed like the team played hard regardless of the record. That reflects on coaching as well. Maybe the players see everything differently than fans from the outside.

Rivera has NOT been a good coach in my opinion and everyone else's during the season. I guess the offseason makes you forget. Rivera's horrible calls, unecessary and ill timed timeouts, onside kicks, not going for it on 4th and inches and relying on the defense who was struggling all game, not being able to seal the deal and win the game - a consistent problem he has had for two straight years. These could be growing pains but so far not so good. Hopefully he has learned. Now of course not all the blame is one him, the fat contracts won't help this team and niether will the loswer mentality that has been ingrained in the team.

So you recognized Jyles fuging Tucker from your memory of him during his one total week of being in Panther training camp?

This stinks of another made up bullshit story from SuperJTheGreatBullshitter. How's that made-up degree in Sports Management with a minor in PE from a Community college that doesn't offer either program progressing?

I mean, the odds that Jyles stuck around Charlotte after his week long stint in training camp (which isn't even in Charlotte), is slim to fuging none anyhow.

He's from NJ, but he went to school at Wake, so I guess it's possible he lives in NC somewhere, just not likely.
