Should we draft 2 DT?

Dwan Edwards - 33 years old coming off his best season of his career. Can we really expect him to bring the same production again?

Fua - ....................enough said.

Krease - Was cut early and work his way back on the team. Can we depend on him as a starter?

Colin Cole - Jyles Tucker .......anyone. Is he a Camp body and do you really want to depend on him after being out of football for 11/2 years.

Nate Chandler - Undrafted FA last year.

Looking at this list Fellas we could use 2 DT.

Yes so as long as we never put a 1st round talent DT on the roster you're ok. Good.

Never is a bit of a stretch. Now is just not the time to spend a first round pick on a position that takes at least 2-3 years to develope. But hey you guys are the experts and ize be jus a simple boah dat don't know teh foozeball. You guys kill me, lol

I mentioned this on one of my early early mock thread.

I would love it if we got Sheldon at 14 and a Jesse or Hankins at 44.

But, again no "2 WR" or "2 DT" etc. is going to happen.

We nee 1 WR, 1 Safety, and 1 DT.

Your last line seems like the most realistic outcome

With that said there are so many holes and questions we really can't miss as for as what position we are picking

Gettleman will do work

You must didn't see the first post with the DT roster we have now??

And Fletcher Cox, Michael Brockers, Marcell Dareus, J.J. Watt, Corey Liuget,Phillip Taylor, Muhammad Wilkerson and many more the last 5 years says hey.

Omg, I'm flattered tell them I said hey. That was unexpected. Didn't realize they knew me. JJ Watt is about the best example there. If he Is somewhere in ths draft take the bastard without a second glance. Sadly he's not and if he were we don't have a high enough pick to get him. What else ya got Luke? You almost have me convinced...

We need 1 WR, 1 Safety, and 1 DT.

After this, Im making a "should we draft 2 CB" thread.

In honesty CB is our biggest position of need. We have two pro bowl DEs on our line and 3 pro bowl LBs behind them. Even if we have avg DT play we will be ok on the front 7. Our secondary is in shambles right now and could use some talent. When was the last time we picked CB high again?

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
