Should we draft two WRs in the first two rounds?

Recommended Posts

If one of the 3 OT's were there in the first, absolutely. Wont be there, so DT might be the pick, especially if Philly passes on Star, he could fall. A great front 7 instantly makes your CB's and Safties about 2 notches ahead of where they were last year. Just saying. Anytime a QB gets all day to pass, there is not a secondary in the league that can stop a passing attack.

Star probably not going to get to us. And if we are looking at an OL, Gettleman could at least do a better job of showing more interest in one. t'll be a Sheldon, Keenan, Hopkins or Cyprien imo.

We're a team with a 33 year old #1 receiver, a decent #2 option in LaFell, and exactly zero proven contributors outside of that group. Hixon has never scored more than twice in a season, Ginn is a returner, and we've got nothing else.

Atlanta spent two first round draft picks plus all of the picks from the Julio trade on wide receivers. They have one of the best passing games in the league.

If two receivers are clearly the best value on the board, I wouldn't hate it. I wouldn't go out of my way to do it, but I wouldn't hate it.
