Will we ever have back to back winning seasons under John Fox?

Hasn't happened yet. Everytime we've had a good year under him, it was followed by a majorly disappointing season the next year. We really haven't been all that consistent.

Yeah I think so. I think it's the players more than the coach. We've had a history of injuries that greatly affected the team's performance in years past.

I'm hoping the law of averages is finally on our side in this one. As is pointed out, we've never, ever, under any coach, had back-to-back successful seasons as far as contending for the playoffs. We have many returning starters this year. If we can't make that happen this year, we probably never will under Fox.

But despite the Panthers picking “a bad day to have a bad day,” as Fox put it after that Jan. 10 massacre, the expectations are high for this season.

“I don’t see why we should lower them from last year,” said running back Jonathan Stewart. “When our name’s called, we just have to play ball. I think me and DeAngelo (Williams) are capable of much more next year, running the ball and catching the ball. This offense, and this team in general, is hungry from last year.”

Barring any big injuries, there is absolutely no reason why we won't have a winning record this season. This team is just too good to go from one of the best in the NFL to below average when our roster is virtually the same.
