Lets Forget About Drafting The Player We Want..

Jakob

Recommended Posts

Am I the only Huddler that doesn't care if my favorite player is taken in the draft and/or if it's someone I disagree with. I'm more interested in seeing if Gettleman can pick who this team needs the most. I have faith in whoever he picks.

Anticipating who we might draft is part of the fun.

Take that out and you're nixing part of the point of being a draftnik.

I understand, I'm just excited to see what Gettleman is going to do and if he has good drafting skills.

Me too, but it's still fun to imagine your favorite college player/prospect becoming a Panther.

I'm thinking about all the things Tavon Austin could do for us.

I'd love to see us draft Austin but I think and hope we have a chance at drafting Chance Warmack.

Chance Warmack was Cam's Guard in high school, I think that would be amazing to get them back together.

i don't have a guy i want. i tried before to limit it to five and i couldn't. i can't even narrow it down to one or two positions.

i guess i want a WR more than any other position, but honestly i don't care if it's in the first or second round that we get him.

i'm pretty much open to anything and just excited to see who it is (as long as it isn't a guard).

My heart says WRs and TD makers. But my head is telling me Big Guys. IMO, we have enough Offensive talent to allow us to go Defensive in the first. Get that Big Guy for the D first, then grab that TD maker in the second. We have the Offense to compete in our Division. It would behoove us to also incorporate that philosophy into the Defense. Also, to the folks bemoaning a DT that early. I say, Our top 10ish DT may just be the piece we need to become elite. Oh, and my space tab does not work on the Huddle. Bloody annoying.

I want who the new GM wants. I am much more interested in who that is going to be and what it says about the teams future than trying bully people into accepting my opinion based on watching highlight clips. There is not one single person here who knows enough about scouting for me to be concerned with their opinion. That's not an insult, it's just a fact.
