In a mid afternoon presser during the launch of his "charitable foundation", in reference to the coming year, Beason says he'll be better. He also wants to play the Will.

“I'll be better,” Beason said. “I can't even fathom not being better than I previously was. Especially, when you get to this stage of your career, mentally you know how to prepare and those are the things that you're focusing on more.”

I was really hyped when i saw his shirtless workout video last year. Now talk is cheap. Perform. Love ya Beast, but no talk, just play.

Fair enough! He really doesn't have any excuse this time. Time to....get off the pot, err sidelines.

Yeah if backup running backs are bouncing off him again like he is made of rubber...that will not be good.

That said, a LB core of Beason-Kuechly-Davis would be sick, assuming Beason can get some of his game back.

Yea, he almost looked scared to tackle sometimes. Was reaching a lot with his arms. In sure that's just the mental aspect if not wanting to test that Achilles.

Achilles is a bitch to come back from. We shouldn't have even been expecting poo from him last year. We all knew it took Demeco Ryans a full season just to get back to normal but for some reason we thought Beason was gonna go above and beyond the boundries of the injury. We were all optimistic about evvvverything last off season...

We were all homers is what we were. This season its more likely we see old Beast and when that happens our LB core is going to be DIRTY

Double it's...sorry

Several of us were saying that he would not be near 100% last year due to the type of injury. But, there were still those on here (those whose football acumen comes from Madden) who kept saying he was superman and normal recovery times did not apply to him.

Rg3 states the same thing.

I'll admit i was one of the ones who thought he was going to be OK coming back specially after the video. Now i will take a wait and see approach and hope we have back up plans for him and Davis.

He had a chance, but it was unlikely that he would. Our hope created rose colored glasses.

It happens to most fan bases.
