I think Pilares has only held onto his job at this point because RR doesn't want to admit that every single pick not named Cam Newton in his first draft was a complete and total failure. Same could be said for Fua me once, shame on you.

If we go with 6 WR, I see Smitty, Lafell, Hixon, Ginn, So that leaves Gettis, Adams, and the rookie to fight it out for those last two spots. Not counting everyone else still hanging around. That is a poo ton of guys. We are going to jettison quite a few WR this year. Going to be interesting to see the final roster.

100% agreed. I've said several times that i expect to see only 2-3 of the WRs from last years roster on the '13 roster. it wouldn't shock me to see in '14 not even smitty and lafell.

it's pretty clear that gettleman is wanting an overhaul of the WR corps.

Adams is on his rookie contract and cheap. He will be here this year unless he plays poorly in camp and the preseason. Then again there are few folks safe at this point including staff.
