Keenan Allen Pro Day Tommorow.

Has anybody thought about the idea that Rivera went to Cal and we are looking at receivers anyway? Maybe this was a good opportunity to visit with his alma mater while on the job. Two birds, one stone. Keenan Allen is far from a sure thing as our pick right now.

Except oops. Keenan Allen had his pro day at Proehlific Park with his mentor Ricky Proehl, who threw for him.

You know. That guy who is a coach on our roster.

I swear do you people not even have the decency to read the initial post before you go spouting off comments. I never understood that. What if this post was about apple pie? What if i simply named it that to draw people in? Then you'd look even sillier than you do now.

This entire post is exactly what I'm talking about. I also find it comical to see you back out of your inital argument with the classic"well, that's just like your opinion, bro!"

You made an argument, I showed your argument was rooted in truths that didn't exist. There's no "conflicting opinions" about that. That's you being wrong.

lol at Tahj Boyd not being projected as a first rounder. thats you also being wrong.

This is a man who clearly doesn't understand the difference between "fact" and "opinion". In his mind, everything he thinks = fact; everything anyone else thinks = stupid opinion.

This type of person is better known as an idiot.

Scouts are raving about the day he had. Why would that take him from the mid 1st to a mid 2nd?

Something doesn't add up in your logic.

I haven't read up on his Pro Day yet. Just saw he ran a slow 40 and since people take those times to the heart hoping he would tumble in the draft. I wouldn't mind him at 14. He's my favorite WR of the bunch.

You just get mad when someone's not all over "your" guy. If we take Allen, I hope he's great, but to act like his 40 time isn't at least a little concerning is just having your head in the sand.

What about a 40 time would concern me? It's a 40 time. I'd be more concerned if he had trouble eating ice cream without getting it all over his clothes.

I'm still waiting for you to try and back-up your initial argument. All I've seen you do is take grade school hit and run shots ever since your intial argument was disproved.

That right there, my dear friends, is idiotic.

You have yet to acknowledge my response to your "Keenan Allen is the best route runner and has the best hands" comment. You have done no research or anything on any of these prospects, or else you would know that Keenan Allen's stock has been slipping even before his timed speed. He has holes in his game.

I think Allen's hands are a lot better then some are giving him credit for, but I'm not sure they're better than Vernon's, Swope's, or Woods'.....

he has the best catch radius of any WR in the draft and did it consistently. If you couple that with zach maynard throwing the football, I feel comfortable putting him up against anyone in this class.

Allen is bigger. Allen is the unquestioned best route runner in the draft. Allen has the best hands in the draft and his catch radius is just amazing. To compare the production of the two is lunatical. In addition to the fact Allen missed a chunk of the season, he also was forced to play with Jimmy Maynard rather than future first rounder Tahj Boyd in an incredibly effective pass offense.

None of those arguments serve your overall point because they're either inaccurate, or so blatantly taken out of the overall context that it's somewhat humorous.

Just stop trying man, people are gonna continue to ignore the fact he had one of the shittiest Qbs in college throwing him the ball just to support their argument for not wanting the guy. Allen had a 1300 yard season with Maynard his sophomore year which says a lot to me. He would have had over 1,000 again if he hadnt of got hurt this past season. He had to have a known his brother wasnt that good but he wanted to play with him anyway.

I'm not the one that presented outrageous "facts" and/or just outright made poo up. I expressed concern about Allen's speed, as represented by his factual 40 time. You talked about the "facts" that he has the best hands and is the best route runner in the draft. Those aren't facts, they're opinions. You stated Boyd is a 1st round NFL pick while the fact is that Boyd received a 2cd day draft grade from the advisory committee in a draft class that is in the opinion of many to be one of the weakest in recent memory. See there how I differentiated between fact and opinion? Try it sometime.
