I've never been on the stadium tour but I believe they take you down to the field and into the the tunnels. You get to see areas that are normally inaccessible to fans. They give you history on the franchise etc. If you are a big Panther fan it sounds really cool to me. Our Stadium is only 17 years old or so but we make history every season (not always good history). Someday our building will be looked at the way Soldier Field and Candlestick park are. It might take another 30 years and I can't wait until then to be proud of my stadium.

I'm from CA and I'm going to a home game for the first time this fall. I can't wait. Thanks for the post. I think it was a great topic. Is there usually good player worn stuff for sale during the season? There is no Panther stuff here in SoCal so I plan on going a bit crazy when I walk into the stadium.

A lot of Panther gear in the local Malls as well if you find the stadium stuff pricey. Check those out.

Wow a practice shell is the light pads they sometimes wear in practices. They're around the same size as normal pads but much thinner and lighter. Mostly for minimal contact practices.
