Stopped by the Team Store Today

Recommended Posts

I love visiting Panther stadium, It was a beautiful day so I drove over, walked around the stadium, and visited the team store.

They had all the New Era hats marked down to $15. I wear a L/XL and the New Era hats have a much nicer fit than my Reebok hats. I was really impressed with the comfort. I went with a Blue Cap and Black bill, 39Thirty. I am very pleased with it.They have a much better selection in store than online.

It seemed like most apparel was marked down, $70 polos were selling for $40. Still too expensive in my opinion. They had T-Shirts marked down to $19.99. They had a clearance section that had been picked through pretty good, just a bunch of small Reebok gear and old kids stuff. Still if you have a child in the right size it's a good place to find a $3-7 Tshirt.

Now what I like to go for is the Team used gear. I'm pretty hefty so it's easier to find player worn gear that fits. They had NFL Equipment cold weather undershirts for $12.99. You can't find these in any retail store. I picked one up for those late season games. They also had a nice hoodie with a sewn on Panther logo. I found one in great condition, i paid $45 but brand new it would probably be $90

They also had tons of practice worn shells and tshirts. The Tshirts were $20 and the shells were priced based on the player. All the big names were like $150 which is stupid. Greg Hardy was $50 which seemed almost reasonable.

All in all it's a pretty boring time to hit up the store but I can always find something to buy.

A practice shell is the Jersey they wear over their pads.

I just walked around the outside today. They do have tours where they take you around the stadium on a golf cart but they only offer those on certain days/times. If you go into the team store and they have enough staff on hand sometimes they will escort you down onto the field.

I don't know how you get this gig but I've seen a group of college kids allowed into the stadium to run. I'm not sure if everyone can do that or they have a special relationship with the Panthers.

And yeah, I get that this thread doesn't appeal to everybody but there is a group of us that love going to the team store and like to know whats there so we don't waste a trip. So it is a cool story, bro.

Can't get a working link to the site but Panthers.com->Stadium->tours to see the dates.

Public Tours

Bank of America Stadium tours for the general public are offered each Wednesday at 10 a.m. and on Fridays at 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. in front of the ticket office, located between the East and South gates on Mint Street. Tours are fully accessible for the physically challenged; however, wheelchairs are not provided.

Public tours for groups of 10 or less do not require a reservation (see below for group tour information). Please arrive 15 to 30 minutes before the tour begins since space is limited and tours start promptly at the designated times.

The cost for public tours are as follows: free for children under the age of five, $3 for children ages 5-15, $5 for adults and $4 for senior citizens age 55 and older. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult. The Bank of America Stadium Ticket Office accepts cash, personal checks verified with a driver license or an American Express or Visa card.

    • First of all Sooners fan? Mods? Second if you think someone needs a specific reason to hate Texas you don’t watch real college football.
    • 100% even if rest of team is really talented if they march young out to be qb and he plays like he has for 90% of his starts the panthers have already lost doesnt even matter how good the rest of the team is or isnt and also makes it hard to even tell how good they are.  They need true competition for young this offseason.
    • It will be awesome to have an improved stadium to lose in I guess....   https://www.yahoo.com/news/panthers-file-rezoning-bank-america-111500840.html     The Carolina Panthers have taken another necessary step toward renovating their home of the present and future. Panthers Stadium, LLC, filed its rezoning site plan with the city of Charlotte on Monday, initiating an important — if mostly technical — step toward renovating Bank of America Stadium. The filings state that the rezoning relates “primarily to technical aspects associated with improvements to Bank of America Stadium,” and that the rezoning is required because “the current stadium zoning is out of date” for the team’s stadium renovation plans.   The planned stadium updates include new seats installed throughout the upper and lower bowls; stadium safety and security enhancements; a reimagined South Lawn Pavilion; upgraded restrooms; exterior enhancements (including LED video boards) and more. Planning for the stadium renovation project will continue through 2025, with construction starting in 2026 and the renovation’s conclusion in 2029, The Observer previously reported.
