Enjoyed the Hannibal hunt a lot. I love the shift in the show and will interesting to see the focus on tooth fairy as the villain of the arc. To be fair the red dragon story started on the first episode. Fuller confirmed the murders will talked about in the first episode were the tooth fairy

Damn NBC for completely screwing up season 3. Rushed and not even close to being as good as the first 2 seasons. Hopefully Netflix or a pay cable channel will save it.

Meh I guess it was me but I thought it was for sure the best season. Far more focused, consistent theme throughout, great acting and pacing. Tension was always there.

 

The finale was the best part though. It faithfully culminated everything from the very first episode forward built upon. Will finally became the man that Hannibal wanted him to, the man Alana warned could come out, the man Jack believe not possible. He embraced his psychotic break and the hunter Hannibal molded him into. It's incredible how perfectly harmonized this is with the ending to both Hannibal and Red Dragon. The fight with the Red Dragon was just incredible, seeing them gang up to kill him was too awesome.

Red Dragon was a lil OP but very well acted and consistent with the seasons theme and Hannibal and Wills nature. He really embodied the character very well... and the biting of lips? Just....wow.

But the best part of the finale for me? Hannibal's warning to Alana. The boldness and certainty that Madd's carried in that scene was just tremendous. There was no if about it and Alana knew it. Hannibal will come and he will claim what belongs to him. Probably my favorite scene in the entire show, it captured everything that makes Hannibal the legendary villain that he is known as.

 

What a ride. I really hope we get more. I doubt it.

Hopefully, with the lovers leap ending, we will get a dream do over, and we can pretend 3 never happened.

I'm just going to pretend that season 3 never happened and Season 2 was the series finale.
