If one gets by Arizona, SD grabs him.

If we cut hangman, how much would immediately come off the books?

I think it is around $1.7 million We supposedly have about $5.7 million in cap room, but we have our draft picks to sign too.

I think Garry Williams is over $1 million too.

to answer my own question, according to spotrac, the cap hits are below:

hangartner - $1575000

garry williams - $1258333

i think if we cut hangartner, there is no cap hit. something like $130,000 for williams.

The only plus i see to keeping hangman is that he could play center if needed. The problem is he is even worse at center than he is at guard

So, if we cut them both, come June 1st we would have about $11,000,000 in cap space. $7,000,000 still available after factoring in rookie salaries. Plenty of money to upgrade OG, RT and NT
