Ginn is a exceptional KR/PR. You're not bringing him in just in case. I think you can INK him in at that job. IMO.

pencil him in for this year. goal might be to let patterson/austin work on WR stuff this year and returner next year...you know, allow him to focus on that one aspect. nothing is certain or written in ink until all the pieces are in place. they won't decide to draft a wr/return guy because they have ginn. if they see a guy they want, they'll take him regardless of position or who they have there already.

CRA's had an axe to grind against Smith ever since the huddle brought him to the realization that Smith is the face of this franchise over his one true love Julius.

I've ignored anything he's had to say about the topic since.

Smith is one of by favorite PLAYERS....my only "axe" to grind with the Smith topic is the one where posters pretend his flaws don't exist and pretend he is something more than he is.

I defend Pep only bc the Pep hate is comical. Great player. Unfairly bashed. He was what he was...some couldn't accept that. To date, Peppers is the greatest defensive player in our history....the fact he dumped us makes people distort that reality.

After 2010 is when life after Smith became something I was comfortable with....and that doesn't mean he isn't still a damn good player. But like I have always said he isn't Jerry Rice....as his skills diminish his negative aspects mean more. When the chips are down....an old Smith won't be that attractive bc his negative aspects will come out and the 2005 video game beast isn't there to mask it

I maybe a little bit spoiled but I hope we get day one starter out of our 1st 2 picks like we have the last 2 years. And I'm not saying Ginn or Hixon signing stops them from drafting a WR. I don't have a clue what they will do. But the signings might move other WR's higher on their board. Like a Allen, Hopkins, and Hunter guy who maybe better as actual WR right now.
