Even a well respected leader of this team makes a comment about an area that Cam can improve....not bashing him, but addressing an OBVIOUS area where he can and should improve.

Yet, all of the Cam nut huggers, still find ways to disregard it and say that they are wrong. None of you can ever admit that he is not perfect.

Jon has earned his voice, no matter what he says. He's an unquestioned leader on and off the field and has played at a level that backs his words. If, IF, he was actually criticizing Cam then he would be one of the guys who could legitimately do it.

I did not take his comment as a real criticism of Cam. More along the lines of something that Cam could work on to ease the media scrutiny that is unfairly on him.

He makes comments about how great Cam is and how fun it is to watch Cam grow and progress.

Only the extreme cam Nuthuggers read it as anything more than that. They find it necessary to come out and show how everyone (now even Beason) is just flat wrong in any thing not glowing they say about Cam.....because you know that a bunch of idiots on this board know more about what is going on than Beason (one of the undisputed leaders of this team).

Beason made one comment that was not knob slobbering about Cam...and the nut huggers immediately come out to say how everything Beason said was spot on EXCEPT for the comment about something that Cam could work on. The poster I was responding to FLAT OUT said that Beason was WRONG on that account.

I believe that Beason has a perspective that none of us (you, me, and everyone else on this board) have.

There is nothing ill-informed nor "jumping to conclusion" about that statement.

I don't think there is anyone here who would dispute that. It was Beason who was the first to come to the defense of his quarterback after Alex Smith made his comments last year. There is only one person in this thread making a mountain out of a molehill, per usual.

agreed, tho this wasn't one of those times. he said that those were areas he had grown in. you could say that saying there were areas at all that he needed to grow in is a criticism in itself (but to me as cam's still just a human is common sense because there's room for growth in everyone breathing), but this seemed more praise for growth demonstrated in the way he carried himself as well as growth as a player.

i'm assuming you're talking about me since you quoted me and this shows just how much you are talking out of your ass.

i wasn't criticizing beason. i was criticizing how his comments were heard by the poster i was quoting...and others hearing it said the same thing.

beason wasn't saying those were areas that he needed to grow in. he was saying that those were areas that he had demonstrated growth in.

From what I have seen:

- Loves Davis and his comeback story, something great to come next season.

- Tough being in injured and watching from the sideline

- How Jerry Richardson is threating his players: family atmosphere in Carolina. Wants to have a relationship with the players but does expect them to play on a high leven. Doesn’t want to play for any other organisation.

- About playing on the outside: he wants to win a ring. Has the ability to play outside. Wants to play with Kuechly ("We can be scary good"), thinks our defense can be the best in the league.

- About Cam as a teammate: he end up setting the bar so high, placing pressure on himself. Cam progressed. Watching Cam was fun.

- Does Cam need to change that language body?: He needs to be a man about it, needs to learn to address the media

- About Rivera: expectations very high. Rivera went throught a tough time, also with lots of injuries

- What do Panthers neet to do to compete NFC South: hit and run from W1

on target with everything except the bolded.

You didn't even watch the video, did you? He said he ENDED strong, it seems like the interviewers was trying to make him say more than that, but kept saying he ended STRONG and that's apart of the maturity process.

I took your comment to mean that Beason was correct in all of his statements except for the one about Cam's behavior. I now realize that you were saying the OP was correct in all of his summarized statements except for that one comment.

Still does not change the fact that there is a big contingent if people here who look for criticism of Can in anything someone says...if they don't proclaim him Superman.

I live Cam as our QB. He has far exceeded my expectations of what I though his first few seasons would be like....I thought he had huge upside but would take time to develop. The kid is a freak athlete and has developed nicely over his first 2 seasons. You could see the growth in him from the first half to the second half if the season.

I expect big things from him this season....believe he will be clutch late in the games this year. You saw how comfortable he was becoming late last season.
