Worst Panther in history to start at least 8 games?

People are now just naming players they hate..

K Colbert had a very promising rookie season..Drew Carter was better than Louis Murphy n DJ Hackett or Kevin Dyson.

Lamar Smith n Deshaun Foster had solid to good seasons.

Did Chuck Smith start? Or play a game?

For me: Jimmy Clausen.

Clausen is hands down the worst thing to ever happen to this team. His 2010 was far worse than David Carr or any other QB we ever had.. The offense was historically awful. At least Weinke's 1-15 season had us in a lot of games and there were moments of possible greatness there. Kerry Collins took us to a NFC championship game.

Clausen is Rodney Pete..in that first half of that game where he had 15 yrds but for a season n probally the rest of his career. I was begging for David Carr to come back..

I would call the suicide hotline on Sundays as I was so depressed by Q1 seeing 12 passes batted to the ground or sail out of bounds.

He is symbolically all of the Panther's failures in one person to me. He was Pette's 15 yrds game..Delhommes bad decisions, Carr's whay happend to your ability and just proved in his one year he will NEVER be anything more than a David Carr(Panther's version) at best.

Defensively: Nick Hayden was embarassing..never saw a guy doing grass angels during a play as he was pancaked Every play..it seemed..

Nakamura is terrible too..from signing to madden to real life..awful in every way.

He symbolically represents the Hurney-Panther DT solution.. Fua, Mclain, Irvin, Tank, that guy we traded for from the Browns. He was the worst of that bunch..

lol at the jake delhomme slurpfest... you people are delusional, but i guess its not delusional when you know nothing about football.

you just sound like a stupid little kid tbh

e: worth noting that laughing at your insane assertion that jake delhomme is the worst panther in history to start at least 8 games isn't a "slurp fest"

Interesting premise for certain. Some good options posted already/

Like Cigarsmoker above, my first response probably would be Jason Peter. He was flat terrible. And the fact that we took him over Vonnie Holliday (after either Jack Bushofsky or Dom Anilefamously told him he'd dance on the table if we got to pick him) just made it that much worse.

I remember Doug Evans being pretty bad too. Has he been mentioned yet?

jimmies rustled? Olindo Mare might be the only other person in panther history to suck as bad as delhomme. You might be able to throw Carter and Jerrett in there.

Are you sure you meant him? Maybe your looking at it from a value standpoint as it seems like we paid him good money as a free agent.

Maybe you meant Rashard Anderson?

I don't know how Kris Mangum makes the list without even a mention of Mike Seidman. That dude caught one pass where he fell down and then a whole lot of nothing. The "Hogwarts' Defense of The Dark Arts Instructor Award For Longevity" goes to the safety across from Minter for about 4 years. Colin Branch, Shaun Williams, etc. Terrible.

Did someone say Jake didn't come through when it mattered? LMAO. Jake could teach any QB in the league a few things about a two minute offense.

No mentions of Lamar Smith or Deshaun Foster? Drew Carter?

I can't even remember who all we had on D in 2001. I'm sure least 7 of them could make this list though.

Wow, don't pull selective memory bs. Foster averaged over 4.0+ yard a carry up until his last year, and even then he still managed 3.5, he's far from the Worst Panther in history, and that's pretty ignorant considering the moments he's had wearing the uniform.

Jarrett, Nakamura, Nick Hayden, Colbert
