if this OL draft is as good as people are talking about, there's going to be some vet OL hitting the streets because there were cheaper alternatives in the draft. when that happens, we'll probably be more active. i expect that we'll see several picked up heading into TC and a good bit of competion for the starting gig. considering we'll have gettleman's eye doing the scouting, i'm pretty sure we'll have decent choices.

Good point. We do not have to fill every position before the draft. I am pretty certain we will draft 1 lineman in the 4th round or later. A rookie and a veteran. Looks like we are doing that at DT and G, if my guess is correct.

Damn some of you expect Gettleman to change this roster over night. Give the man some time. After the draft and after the UDFA frenzy this teams front lines should look a bit different.

Also take into account that he resigned Edwards. That's a huge plus. Without him the interior part of the defensive line would be a lot worse.

I'd like to sign Glenn Dorsey for NT and take another DT in the top 2 rounds.

Keep Piggy for depth, sign a Vet RG, sign a vet DT

Draft O-line, WR or DT in the first 2 rounds and I will be a happy camper.

NT is what I'm worried about. Looking very good that DT is the position at 14.

Why is it looking good then if NT is the biggest concern? Won't be a NT on the board worth the 14th pick.

This is why I think Gettleman will do his best to try and trade down 5-8 picks.

Am I the only one that thinks Jesse Williams out of Bama' isn't that far behind Star? He is a big body and a great athlete that would not be a reach around the 20 spot.

Chances are good that Gettleman is going with DT at 14. You get it???

And, Sheldon Richardson is definitely good enough to be worth the 14th pick of the draft. People can say he's another UT, but the man creates double team. Creating pressure is not even a question on him, but what's better is that the man is also very good at the point of attack. He's not going to get push around like Fua. The ability to just create double team alone aside from everything else he does well make him worthy of the 14 pick.
