Money aside, Anderson easy. Anyone who can rack up 150+ tackles in a season has an edge even over someone with a ring in my opinion. James was always cool to the fans too.

For equal money, definitely Anderson. However, given our cap situation, Blackburn.

Blackburn looks more physical against the run. Every once in awhile we could count on Anderson getting to the QB on a rush.

Anderson is the more complete LB, there will be people that write him off now that we have moved on. If they both cost the same this would not even be a question. Im sure i will like Chase, and its nice to get new guys to pull for, but lets not forget James was better than solid for us. He was not a superstar or anything but he was not someone you felt you needed to replace on the team either.

Seems most people get it. Of course we liked Anderson, he was a very good player and a very good 4th linebacker, The problem was that we had to cut someone to get the cap room we need and he gave us the most bang for our buck of the backups and potential starters. It doesn't mean we wanted to let him go. He got 1.5 from Green Bay which is what he was worth. If that was his cap number for us, he would still be a Panther.

THis is totally not fair because the move allowed us to fill multiple needs.

As a reserve, Anderson and Blackburn are probably about the same. Anderson would have been a reserve.

Blackburn would be better on special teams.

Blackburn will be a better leader, a person whose energy others feed upon.

Since Anderson's cutting allowed us to free money for multiple players, it should read something like this:
