I dunno about this 30 business, but next year isn't necessarily the last year of his deal. There's a 5th year option the team can (and obviously will if an extension isn't reached) pick up.

Flacco has atleast a Super Bowl trophy and a killer record in the playoffs. Not to mention he had one of the greatest post season runs ever. Romo has 1 playoff win.
