It does sound like arthiritis from stress. I got that in my achilles, there were miniscule partial tears. it swelled up, hurt like fug at night and i just stayed off it for a few days took ibuprofen and it felt better. it flares up from time to time. But i would go back to the doc.

I have a similar story. One time I murdered a hooker whom I had hired and then stuffed her body parts in a walk-in freezer as well as some oil drums in the backyard. A cop showed up the next day for some routine questioning about a hooker who had gone missing the night before. Long story short...more body parts in the crawl spaces under my porch.

And then on the following Tuesday...swelling in my knee.

WTF???

so let me sum this Huddle diagnostics I have knee cancer so I need to eat tums, spray windex, amputate the knee, quit fuging a demon woman, bleach it and then be more careful killing hookers ....That about sums it up.

you know you can always count on the Huddle

lol

Pie for all

and then the more serious responses they all sound very good, I'm going to keep the pressure off the knee and just see the doctor on Monday if the swelling doesnt go away. The MRI sounds like I would find most of my answers.

Thanks again.

There are very few things with the knee that physicians consider emergencies.

Swelling and pain is not one of them. They'll tell you to RICE and come back in a few weeks. If its still swollen, then they might look into the matter a little more seriously.

(RICE= rest ice compress elevate)

Yeah man I have swelling on my knees constantly. Arthritis is normal if you have ever injured it before. I am 23 and have arthritis in both my knees since high school. Tore both them up playing football and have arthritis in both knees in condition of a 65 yr old. Just stay off it and ice it is all I can really say. If the swelling gets to big they can drain it, very easy they just stick a needle and drain it out takes a few minutes (no pain)

Did you do anything that you can recall hurting it? I have twisted my knees in my sleep before, once you hurt them they never are really the same. As far as ligaments go, if there is pain that is good, when you hurt your knee and you feel/hear the ligaments tear and you feel no pain. That is is when you you know its bad, if they are torn completely there will be no pain after the initial injury. When moving the knee around there will be no resistance which shows all the support is gone
