I think a private workout definitely means the most out of the visits and such because that's something imo a team doesn't waste their time with.

I wouldn't take out the likes of DJ Fluker & Datone Jones being in play.

And for late rounders on the d-line, Akeem Spence is a definite possibility. I'm not that interested in Zeke Motta though

Based on who the Panther's have worked out, first round is either a WR, Safety or DE with the second round being either DT, OL, DB or WR. Unless someone like Johnson falls to the 14th I think that's about what it looks like.

Based on everything so far, I'll stick with the team going

1st - WR

2nd - CB

4th - DT

Until yesterday, I was only aware of five defensive tackles that the Panthers had brought in for a private visit: Shariff Floyd, Sylvester Williams, Kawann Short, Akeem Spence, and Brandon Williams.

Larry Warford of Kentucky is listed as our #3 guard and graded as a second round choice. Personally I see Warford off the board by pick 45. For the most part his list of official visits suggests the same as the teams expending an official visit on Warfrod include the Tennessee Titans, St Louis Rams, Cleveland Browns, Carolina Panthers and Cincinnati Bengals.

The Carolina Panthers worked out Harding DL Ty Powell.

Powell could be a good fit in the Panthers' 4-3 defense as a strong-side linebacker. He's versatile and could be used as a drop-back linebacker, as NFL.com's Gil Brandt suggests. It was reported last month by National Football Post's Russ Lande that Powell could be a third-round pick.

Central Michigan T Eric Fisher tells Pro Football Talk he has visited the Jaguars, Eagles, Lions, Browns and Panthers.

There's been rumors that the Chiefs could select him No. 1 overall but haven't visited with him, interestingly enough. As one can see, he's also visited with the Carolina Panthers but we don't expect him to fall that far. He'll go top 5 at worst, we think.
