Patterson is no where near the prospect AJ green or Julio Jones were.

Plain and Simple is any team in the top 3 considering drafting him like Aj Green? NO!!

Is any team willing to trade 5 picks for him like Atl did for Julio?? NO!!

Patterson wouldn't be the top WR in last year draft.

No team has ever choose a WR with 46 rec. 778 yards and 5 td as his college stats in the first round. No team has ever drafted a WR this raw with this little big time college exp. in the top 20.

Patterson is battling with a slot wr for the top spot. No other "elite prospect at wr" did that.

In a good WR' year he would be a 2nd round pick. This draft doesn't have a elite WR just a lot of depth at the position. There is not a for sure number 1 wr in this draft even the other people who want a wr will admit that.

You need to talk to the NFL scouts and draft board advisory then, because thats the grade he was given. A level under AJ green and Jones, which still makes him an elite WR because of his physical talents. I'm not the one that told him he'd be a top 3 pick in next years draft in a much much deeper WR class.

He may have been in next years draft but we don't know for sure. He is in this years draft and is very raw and has a lot of things to work on. But he is not in the class of AJ Green and Julio Jones I'm sorry.

Means nothing, Hunter, Allen, and Woods were considered the top of this years class this time last year, Remember Landry Jones,,,,yeah, noone else does either.

Same could have happen to Patterson if he stayed.

Not to mention 2 of those players had injuries and Woods got out shined by Lee.

With Lee and Watkins in next years draft there is no way any scout could say Patterson would be the best WR next year.

God I love this time of year....leading up to the draft.

It is amusing to watch people go completely insane arguing over things that (1) they really don't know much about, and (2) have zero control over.

Gettleman has added several role players during this FA period that allows us to go in a few different directioins in this draft.

We could EASILY go in many directions. There are arguements for about every position except for maybe RB and QB.

DT...can definitely upgrade there.

DE...yes, this could be an option. I love CJ and Hardy. But, it will be hard to pay Hardy big time money and have that much cap space tied up in one position (after CJ's monster contract). Hope it does not happen, but it is a possibility.

DB/S....we all know that an upgrade would be very beneficial here.

OT...Gross is a huge contract and on the downside of his career. RT has continued to be an issue.

G...we have struggled at RG for years. A player like Warmack or Cooper could definitely help solidify our line for years.

LB...don't want a high pick here. But, with Anderson's departure and Beason/Davis injury history I would not completely disregard a high pick (hopefully not #14).

Fact is....we are all fans and love this team. But, calling others idiots becuase they don't agree with you over something that you don't control is.....well, idiotic.

I agree. I don't understand why people get so worked up over this either....we should leave that to the Tinderbox.

I remember the good old days when we had good discussion and debate over what we thought the team would and should do. Now it seems like every thread turns into throwing out insults and getting all bent out of shape.

If everyone came to the table with an open mind about these things and actually listened to the rational behind others opinion, they may find those other opinions interesting and intriguing.

I am not a fan of taking a DT in the first because of the high bust rate and long time to develop (statistically speaking). But, I do realize that there is a lot of talent at that position in this draft and that we definitely could use an upgrade. If the team takes a DT....then they are my DT and I will cheer my ass off for them.

you have nothing to with this. he posted a comment for his debate on something he misread which is a fact. inorder to fix that it must be brought up. the fact is the guy did say he would be a top 3 in next years draft. kkl posted asking which teams are taking him top 3 in this years draft. whats wrong with that
