So I was looking at the Walterfootball team meetings page and saw that we have or had a private workout with this dude. They don't source it or anything but if it's true he seems like an interesting later round prospect. These were his stats from the site:

David Bass, DE, Missouri Western State

Height: 6-4. Weight: 262. Arm: 33.48.

40 Time: 4.84.

Projected Round (2013): 5-7.

3/2/13: Bass looked good at the East-West Shrine and flashed some pass-rush ability in the one-on-ones. He was a big part of his Division II program making a postseason run. The senior collected 61 tackles and 11.5 sacks in 2012. He had 14.5 sacks with 20 tackles for a loss as a junior. Bass could be a nice sleeper for the third day of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Here's some of his highlights...

seems like a man among boys in the lesser division but could be someone to groom for a year or 2. I like the idea of us stockpiling pass rushers all over the draft. Assuming it's true that we brought him in and are interested, what do you guys think about him maybe in the 6th or something?

Missouri Western DE David Bass has private workouts scheduled with the Panthers and Rams.

Bass was considered the most consistent pass rusher at the Easy-West Shrine, using his stocky stature to gain leverage and keep offensive linemen on skates. He was also one of the few to display counter moves after his initial momentum was stopped. Expect a mid-third day selection.
