I'm realizing as I read this thread that I haven't watched all that many comedies in the last decade.

Of the ones mentioned, I liked Shaun of the Dead, Tropic Thunder and Bad Santa.

Was The Whole Nine Yards made in the past ten years? Don't remember and too lazy to look up.

i heard Tucker and Dale vs Evil was funny but I haven't seen it. Serenity made me laugh a lot, though it's not technically a comedy.

Funniest thing I've seen lately was Yellowbeard (cable), but I think that one's at least thirty years old or so.

And to stay on topic(somewhat) I know this one misses the cut by about 2 years but I liked little nicky quite a bit.. One of my favorite sandler movies.

A movie I liked was Idiocracy, although a lot of the humor was introspective in a lot of ways

I also liked Shaun of the Dead, but that's just because I'm a sucker for british humor

Laugh out loud comedies. Most are not as good as my next list, all things considered, but were good for laughs.
