UPDATE: The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Browns are not interested in signing Winslow and have not reached out to the tight end about a potential reunion. According to the Plain Dealer's Mary Kay Cabot, the Browns plan to go with Jordan Cameron as the starter, with Davis as the No. 2 tight end.

the browns and raiders want him because they suck and are desperate...and they can have him. i dont want winslow anywhere near cam or ANY of the younger players on our team, he is an absolute over-privaledged egomaniac, and just hearing that it was mentioned that we were one of those desperate ass teams willing to take a shot on him is supremely embarrassing. i love the panthers so much, but its painful when we are consitent losers, and have to watch our team entertain the notion that its dropped its standards enough to seem interested in such a low character player in order to win now....its damn depressing. i wouldnt want my franchise's name even associated with his if i were JR, i certainly hope this is complete bs and he is trying to drum up interest in his services....and if that is the case, the panthers should sue him for slander.

You know, people talk about bad players surrounding cam, people forget Steve Smith has gotten into 3 fights with team mates and he is one of the best damn players to ever walk on the field for any team ever.

I don't see why people wouldn't want him. He can be a solid two guy, would come at a reasonable price, and would allow us to use one of our very few draft picks on a position of serious need like defensive tackle, wide receiver, safety, guard etc...
