Proudiddy's Super Awesome Movie Extravaganza

I am taking a page out of SBVG's book and posting some of my films I made over recent years. I expected more views from Facebook friends back when I posted them, but I mainly just got them from my core friends and family. I've started to explore ideas for more shorts recently, so I kind of figured, after opening up more to the Huddle recently, why not show you my horrible movies?

Here is the appetizer:

My friend played the main character, as obviously, I had to do the shooting... This was a sound project, but I uniquely chose to base it off of the Super Mario Bros. soundtrack that I grew up on.

Here is another short we did. This was the extended version in which I did a horrible Mark Wahlberg impression, well, everything except the "say hello to ya motha for me aright" part. We messed around with the aperture or something beforehand and it ended up making the entire film fuzzy because we shot it at night.

You weren't really going for Mark Wahlberg tho right?

Lol, no. It started as a joke because I kept repeating a phrase he said in a movie and it was a pretty good impression. The more we did it, it wasn't... But, we wanted to include it anyway just because we wanted to say "Mystical Mark Wahlberg" and use him as a genie. Plus, we filmed all of this stuff starting at like midnight and up through the next morning.

Any of the shaky shots and such that are still in there were because I had to edit them with what we had already shot in about 2 hours or less. We usually came up with the concept and then shot them the whole night and then I had to scramble to edit them by the time class started. I am a master procrastinator.

@SZ, Yeah man, I was so excited about that movie when it came out... Then I saw it. It was absolutely horrible. Those stupid boots they wore, Koopa, etc. Garbage. I didn't know it was shot in Wilmington though.

Thanks gor watching these, we all have to start somewhere. And no reason to be embarrassed my good man! Go ahead and post yours. Good times.

    • he has barely suited up for 50% of our games.  It matters pending how much of our cap and resources go that way.  If he cost in the ballpark of a Surtain? No thank you.  Let someone else  And as far we know what happens when we let talent walk away or trade them…..that’s a mixed bag.   should we of paid Norman, Bradberry at CB? They probably had earned the right to be called better than Horn at that moment of the decision.  Do we regret that? Do we regret Star walking? Can take it back to Spoon.  Flip side is probably Peppers.
    • We need to get better in the redzone. And yes that is an issue that involves all the moving parts. Oline receivers QB and playcalling. But Bryce himself has to lead the charge on that or surely we could face another blowout in one of these upcoming games. Every team no matter how good they are is going to face an opponent that imposes their will on them and requires the same in response. Those are the games where we have got to capitalize on drives. Honestly I get the sense that the Chiefs on some level overlooked us.  So while I am pleased we were as competitive as we were it certainly remains to be seen if this was the beginning for something new or just an anomaly. I think that's a perfectly fair take at this juncture.
    • He is a diva, even with Baltimore winning, he will cry and pout and ask to be traded. He cares about his numbers and stats for his next contract. Ironically, his best chance to showcase his ability was with us, now he is just an afterthought.
