ehhh black jack goes super super fast. you can lose 100 bucks in like 2 minutes

True, but if you know the rules, and don't slow down the game, you can make money as well.

I have only lost money playing blackjack 1 time in my life.

It's up and down, but I normally make 500 per sitting.

If you make 500 per sitting why not do it for a living? I doubt you make 500 per day at your current job.

I made thousands of dollars both trips to vegas playing poker. The problem is everything else to blow money on. I wouldn't have the discipline to live in vegas. I won't say I never lost at a casino but if I wasn't feeling the table or other participants I got up and left. Its easy to consistently turn 200 bucks into a grand but it takes a couple hours. Plus if you go cold at times how do you live? Very few people are professional gamblers.

If you can find a 15.00 buy-in near the strip that's always the best way to go in Vegas for blackjack imo....but that's hard to come by nowadays. Free drinks, limited cash dumping, and if you play right can still make like 125 on the solid night

Had a neighbor who flew to Vegas every Sunday night, flew back here every Friday night. Professional gambler. I couldn't imagine the stress. Either that or he worked for the CIA. Or the mob.

People don't "normally make 500" per sitting at blackjack unless they are card counting. It's simple math.

I play low tables. Take my time, play carefully, try not to get hot or cold, and rarely change tables.

Every time I go up a hundred or so I put that money in my pocket and don't pull it back out.

I am not saying that I can do it for sustained periods, but I have done it at least 8 or 10 times.

Professional gamblers are made up of people who either cheat or play low margin games combined with comps and make $1 an hour grinding out poker machines.

The house edge is the house edge. You simply can't beat it.

No. Some people are smarter than math.
