Not the same type of WR idiot.

They don't line up in the same Position idiot.

How is he going to take Lafell job when he's a slot and Lafell is a outside wr idiot?

If drafted Austin and Lafell would be on the field at the same time mostly. And since Lafell can actually Block as well he would be on the field more for running plays idiot!!

omg you're dumb

Then what is the point of your argument? The Giants didn't go out and sign 3 nickle backs and say "now we have our superbowl secondary". If things had gone to plan they would've had Terell Thomas, Prince Amakamur and Jayron Hosely as their starters with Webster backing them up.

Still, it wouldnt have made them any closer to being in the Super Bowl.

Everyone know that when the NYG is hott and start to make a run at the SB, it's all bc of their Front Four. Not their secondary.

lets talk about creating separation first before going onto who has the best hands based on percentage ok

But I was talking about having the best hands on the team. That was what you were disputing in your dumbass way. Now you want to change the category?? How simple are you??

I never talked about who had the best hands before you jumped into the conversation. If thats your defintion to define what makes a good receiver compare to a bad receiver, good go ahead. I guess Lafail is better than 89, Julio, etc (the guys you listed). Thats based of percentage balls he catches thrown at him. It has nothing to prove that his hands are actually better than the other elite guys.

Did you look at AE's percentage also? Bet he has some great hands too. He must be good

So you're saying that it didn't matter that the Giants didn't have Thomas, Prince, and Phillps this year???

Really??

You don't think they might have made the playoffs and been a better team at all??

The New York Giants had the 28th ranked passing defense last year.

You don't think having a healthy Thomas, Prince and Phillps would've of help them???

One first round pick of that bunch, one of them picked in the 2nd round 8 drafts ago in 2005. The other a third round pick. They haven't placed a big importance on DB's over the last 4-5 drafts up in NY, because they noticed with their DL they didn't have to invest that much in it.

3 DL

2 WR

1 CB

1 RB

1 LB

The past 4 drafts for NY in the first two rounds.

Panthers Pass defense was ranked 13th.

Also the Panther's think that Josh Norman and Josh Thomas can play the two outside spots just fine, Dockery also played well at the end of the year. Got a couple of new guys to compete for the Nickel and SS position.

Fill out the DL with a couple DT prospects, give Cam a new weapon at WR to take the load off of Steve Smith and give him some protection with a RG are all more important then CB right now.

So having good hands is not a good thing for a "WR" to have???

Dumbass it's called reading comprehension did you even step in that class??

Look, Im not saying we shouldnt draft a cb. I would love to have a Rhodes, Banks, or Desmond but I think we can live with a group by committee. If we can generate enough pass rush, it would help the secondary a lot.

History has shown that you dont need 1st or 2nd round guys to win a Super Bowl. It would help, but the main reason behind it, is being able to rush the QB.

Take a look:

2013 Baltimore: Cary Williams (7th) and Corey Graham (5th)

2012 New York: Ross (1st) and Webster (2nd) KUDOS TO YOU

2011 Green Bay: Tramon (undrafted) and Woodson (1st)

2010 New Orleans: Tracy Porter (2nd) and Jabari Greer (undrafted)

2009 Pittsburgh: Ike Taylor (4th) and McFadden (2nd)

2008 New York: Madison (2nd) and Webster (2nd) KUDOS TO YOU

2007 Indy: Jason David (4th) and Nick Harper (undrafted)

Out of that list, only New York both times had "high round cbs" starting in the Super Bowl for them. But, I could easily still point the finger to their pass rush in the case for them winning both SBs.

I could even say, look at Seattle. They have probably the best secondary in the league right now, but both their starting two cbs are low rounders. Why waste high picks on corners when you could probably find a gem in the later rounds (not likely). Then, I could turn around and say, even with having two of the "BETTER" corners in the league, Seattle still couldnt reach the Super Bowl. Why? bc "NOT ENOUGH PASS RUSH" Everyone knows that you win from the front up on both side of the ball.

Since 2008 the Giants have drafted 5 DB's in the 1st 3 rounds. 2 were 1st round picks. And I won't even count 2007 when they drafted Arron Ross in the 1st round.

So 2 out of your 4 years they drafted a DB 1st. That doesn't sound like a team that doesn't covent having a strong secondary.

This also doesn't take in who they signed or other late round picks they tried to develop at the DB position. But you can look for yourself.

Also Norman didn't look like he had the Panthers confidence when he was on the bench the last few game in Ron's "doghouse".

Hands are the "only" thing people take into consideration huh?

I guess we better throw a $60 mil contract at LaFail right now, bc based on some stupid statistic, he has better hands than 89, Julio, and Colston.

DONE.
