Show Rogers some love! Yes!

But where's the DT? Guess we're going in the season with Fua and Kearse?

Man we are just so hindered without having that 3rd rounder. Really hurts this year because the draft is so deep and we could definitely find a starter in the third most likely.

I'd love a big space eating DT in the second like Jesse Williams but I doubt we will be there at our selection. I wouldn't even mind if we just went DT then G or G then DT in the first two rounds. We need to get protection for Cam with one of our first two picks or at least bring in a proven guard somehow someway.

Would love trading down and getting an extra third and I think Gettleman will try but we will not know until draft day if it is in his plans.

IMO

(1) Austin

(2) Keenan

(3) Patterson

(I would take Da'rick Rogers over all of them)

1)Patterson - dynamism puts him above Allen, just.

2)Allen - probably the most complete WR in the draft.

3)Hopkins - beastly dude. Just lacks elite speed.

4)Austin - I just don't see Austin being more that a dynamic slot receiver.

5)Rogers - Off the field issues only reason he's this low.

Eh, smoking Marijuana doesn't qualify as an off-the-field issue, in my honest opinion. The media made Rogers out to be some pothead who couldn't stay clean but he stayed clean all this year and he interviewed impressively well with scouts. Da'Rick is now considered a second round prospect (his combine results helped the cause too).

He failed 3 drug tests that ultimately lead to his being transferred to an FCS school... Add to that he had maturity and character issues, which included him being involved in a bar fight and was arrested, though the charges were dropped.

Him keeping his nose clean is a good sign that he's committed to turning it around but nevertheless he has red flags that will make some teams pass on him.

I think we very clearly need to go DT in the first round, but Smith, Allen, LaFell, Ginn is a pretty dang good line-up.

I do too. By the looks of it, Gettleman is setting us up to draft a "DT" at 14. Maybe he's thinking Star will fall to 14 or he's in love with someone we dont know at DT.
