Keenan Allen to work out with panthers April 9

Not stupid at all. If he beats Kearse, then Cole deserves the job. Frank, if you paid attention, played just as well, if not better, than Roy. Kearse anchored the line well enough to earn the starting position.

Don't bet your life savings on a DT in the first two rounds unless Star or Floyd drop to us. There's a good chance Gman could skip out on a DT until the late rounds.

If Cole beats out anybody on our Line that says more about how bad Our Line is. That a Guy who hasn't played in a year and half can win a starting job.

Smoke and Mirrors? I'd take my own advice if I were you. Without the rushing attack, our offense isn't a well-oiled machine. Case in point, 2012-13. Deny if you want but our offense didn't rank in the top ten this year.

Well, Gman doesn't think like you either. DT in NY hasn't been a top priority for years. They've loaded up on pass rushers, wide receivers, running backs and offensive linemen.

The rushing attack could be helped by a scheme change and the addition of a RG. We have the other pieces to have a legit rushing attack.

William Joseph was a 1st rounder in 2003 then in 2006 they drafted Barry Coefield. Jay Alford in 2007 then Lindival Joesph 2010. So yes they have a history of drafting DT's. This also doesn't count FA signings at the position like (no off street FA) Norman Hand and Fred Robbins (2nd pick Vikings) in 2004. Kendrick Clancy 2005 (3rd pick Steelers) Rocky Benard 2009 Chris Canty 2009. So no They didn't put a band aide over the position. They either drafted or signed other teams developed talent.

Hakeem Nicks, Brandon Marshall, Marques Colston, Michale Crabtree, Jordy Nelson, Anquan Boldin, Larry Fitzgerald, Stevie Johnson, Dwayne Bowe, Dez Bryant, Sidney Rice and Eric Decker are all Starting WRs that run Greather than 4.40 times in the NFL.

Speed is good but being a complete WR is much better.

If it comes down to Keenan Allen, Coradelle PAtterson and Tavon Austtin, I'll take Allen.

Patton had the worst qb out of all the guys you talk about.

Colby Cameron threw for 4,147 yards, 31 TDs to only 5 ints andd had a 68.8 completetion percentage and 7.94 YPC.

I mean I'd still love Patton but Cameron is actually solid and Zach Maynard is a terrible QB, it's not even close between what Patton and Allen had to work with.

I was watching this show called the panel on fox and they said he was originally recruited to play safety at Alabama but wanted to play wr. I think this is a plus

yep, but when his brother decided to go to Cal he changed his mind.Tedford also changed his position to WR, dude had scored over 50 TDs in like 2 years.

Yeah and with all that he still is an undrafted free agent. Also Patton could have had more touchdown downs and catches, but he would over throw him sometimes. He was decent, but even if he was better, it can't be by that much.

Nobody is saying Colby Cameron is the next Tom Brady (I'd take him over Ryan nassib though I have no clue why Nassib is getting so much hype.) but he is no Zach Manyard.

Manyard is an abysmal QB, 2214 yards, 12 TDs to 10 ints in 10 games.

Cameron is not a Terrible QB, Manyard is. If Allen had a QB as competent as Cameron he'd definitely have morethan just 800 receiving yards.

Patterson no!!!

I guess people don't care about running routes catching balls and knowing the play book.

Cam was said to not be able to understand a nfl playbook coming out of auburn cause they dumbed it don't for him and he's alright. So will Patterson when he has smitty lookin out for him. And if much rather have the extreme talent with the option to mold the mind how I want it then a mind who understands everything but have physical limitations. Patterson can stretch the defense out tavon can't.
