If you've ever wanted an NFL player to make you a sub sandwich and you live in Waco, Texas, you're in luck. That's because St. Louis Rams running back Terrance Ganaway has taken an offseason job at a Waco-area Jimmy John's.

As a rookie last season, Ganaway earned the NFL minimum of $390,000. He's not sure what he's making now, but it's not six figures.

"I'm probably guessing minimum wage -- $7.25 to $7.50 [an hour]," Ganaway said.

"I just wanted to stay fit, stay out of trouble and really just try to save money and not spend a lot of money," Ganaway said.

I thought about posting this in the Tinderbox in the minimum wage discussion. But I think this is a feel good story about someone willing to do hard work. I have a new favorite non-Panther player to root for.
