Hey, I'm all for it. The open competition is great, no favorites. Bring in as many secondary guys you (realistically) can and let the best start. Its the best we can do, even if we draft early, rookie CBs are rarely ready start against #1 WRs from the get go. Plus Rivera has seen the guy play when he was in SD.

Yea, I think so. Wouldn't be surprised to see them address DT with one of the first 2 picks and then Pick up someone like Hardy or Alexander in the 4th or 5th round. Probably going to be a defensive heavy draft with probably one pick for OL and maybe another for WR depending on how FA goes.

I like Godfrey at FS. He misses way too many tackles, but hopefully the switch will mentally check him to wrap up instead of trying to shoulder somebody through a wall.

Never thought of this but watching the video on youtube reminded me that he played for Hue Jackson in Oakland.Somewhat significant since Cincy(where Hue is DB's coach) was the other team interested in his services.
