Don't forget, just because we MIGHT get him, we still need a ST supporting cast around him to make holes. But I agree, his addition does help.

He had 2 receptions for 1 yard last season.

He's a STer.

He was the 4th reciever on a team that runs almost exclusively out of 2 TE and FB sets. He has 2,050 yards and 6 TDs in his career, not gamebreaking stats by far for a top 10 pick with 6 years in the league, but to say he's worthless at receiver isn't completely correct.

It will be good to have a dangerous return man but that isn't going to fix our ST problems. Great STs are built with your backups and we just don't have the depth right now. But who knows.

If this potential signing isn't pissing off Joe Adams, he doesn't belong in the league. I agree that it probably signals the end of Armanti Edwards. Unfortunate that Pillares never really got a shot here if he is cut but that's the business. Ginn would be an instant boost.

Why Pilares? Not sure why people don't like this guy. Sure he isn't the speediest but he's shown way more than Armanti.
