I can't believe there are fans of this team screaming to sign big names at this point. First, it's not the way we operate. Second, it's financially impossible to buck that way of working this year even if they wanted to. Third, the best years this franchise has ever had came on the heels of signing a huge no name Jake Delhomme. Gettleman is going to methodically dig us out of the hole that Hurney dug us into (ironically, by signing big name players to huge contracts), and will only then begin the process of even thinking about starting to make some moves. I know you are tired of hearing about it, but it truly is a process.
