I need recommendations for a place to stay in Raleigh, NC

Just checked in to the Sheraton downtown. Supposedly on the "club level" and the rooms are awful. The bathroom door had fresh stains all over it, carpet is stained, the breakfast room service card is already filled out by the previous guest, and wi-fi is an extra $10. Just switched rooms. It also sucks. And guess how much my client is paying for this poohole? $299/night. Yeah.

I've stayed at the Marriott downtown and it's fine. I'm leaving this craphole tomorrow and going to a Hilton Garden Inn to get a nicer room for half the price.

Awesome location but super dated...perfect placed to be purchased and renovated

That was through the Cancer Center via one of their admins as told to me by mine....like I book my own hotel rooms.

I stayed there once, nice place....I wouldn't say that it's the best hotel downtown, but fun never the less
