We got VERY lucky behind that OL last year....gamble again and we could pay. It was a miracle what Cam did behind and it Kalil coming back doesn't solve it

OL is more of a concern to me than DT at this point. Kalil will help a lot, but we need to get that line taken care of for the overall betterment of the team.

We also are taking a big gamble at LB counting on Beason and Davis to be healthy and good.

We also our counting on our DE duo to repeat what they did last year...to hide our secondary

Bell and Silatolu will be improved, we're pretty much guaranteed to take an o-lineman in one of the first two rounds, add another bargain free agent at some point and we're decent there (not great by any stretch but decent)

Never doubt the Kraken in a contract year.

I really believe Beason will be fine, achilles injuries take awhile to heal. I'm convinced his knee injury was a product of that. He'll be back next year. We can find another backer to fill in- can't have three superstars at LB.

Actually our O Line coach deserves a ton of credit given the injuries and suspect talent. I figure he can do the same thing this year as well particularly if we give Matsko and Brown more talent.

As those with a grasp on reality have repeated numerous times. We don't have money. It's that simple and straight forward.

The question is why? Every team have $123million to spend. Where is ours? Where is the productivity on our team from the $123million we spent?

OL was poo with Kalil last year to be fair

true it isn't something new but given the biggest reason for the late run last year was Cam playing well which is new. It gives me hope that next year will be different rather than more of the same. Hey it is March and if you can't be optimistic now then you never will.

The other reason for the late season run is we played a "bored" Atlana team, a piss poor Chargers and Raider team, an Eagles team that quit, and a Taints team that had the worst defense ever. Rivera and the Panthers lean on those last 5 weeks and sure, we went back to a more conventional O and did well, but its not like we beat playoff teams.

Forgive me for not seeing your logic at all. I don't see any other team in the division making big strides. About the only pickup worth a damn was Steven Jackson and that wasn't that much of an upgrade. No I don't think we are any worse off at this point.

the Falcons were one catch away from the super bowl and we were 7-9. They don't need to improve that much. The Bucs signed a top safety. They beat us twice in defensively oriented games. Their coach was a first year coach. Meanwhile we cut so many of our top defensive players just to get $3.7 mil under the cap. The situation is dire, my man! 3rd place at best.

Why is that too hard to understand by other people!

I don't buy that logic at all. Why didn't you add the whole meaningless games argument as well. By the way I thought the Falcons were a 13-3 team who were playing for home field advantage at the time. The goal is to beat some good teams and beat the ones you should which is exactly what we did.

The Bucs made ALOT of moves last year and it didn't do them that much good.

That will work in their favor because they get to draft high. Once the nucleus is formed the team will get better.

Really? Let's ask the Federal Reserve.

The fed has very limited "money printing" capabilities beyond like paying their employees.

If you had a goddamn idea what you're talking about you would have said the treasury, but you're most likely a ron paul supporter so god knows you're not constrained by the bounds of reality.
